The shoulder is like an orchestra, when it is in synch and being well conducted it can perform beautifully. But there are alot of moving parts that can break down and get out of sync. Coordinated muscle action is essential for movement and stability in the shoulders. We take a closer look at the anatomy of the complex shoulder joint to gain more understanding around key alignment points in the upper extremities, arms and hands to create a sustainable practice full of possibility in ourselves and students.
